Lake Regional Health System is a growing and collaborative hospital, caring for the Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding community. Our expanding hospital offers 116 beds, state-of-the-art medical treatment and a supportive, dynamic learning environment. The Lake Regional ICU is an 18-bed facility supported by a 22-bed Stepdown unit and employs critical care RNs who are an asset to ICU patients and the hospital. Becoming one of our critical care RNs means providing exceptional care for complex cases, assisting and innovating in the ICU and investing in your community.

Because our system is always growing, our need for qualified, dedicated critical care RNs is as well.


Lake Regional Nurses Need

  • Current RN licensure, BSN preferred
  • One year ICU/CCU experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills preferred
  • Availability to work holidays and weekends

Do What You Love

  • Undertake accountability for the coordination of direct nursing care
  • Administer high-risk nursing care (e.g., conscious sedation, complex patient assessment, and high-risk procedures)
  • Demonstrate professional nursing care across practice settings and the continuum of care including assessing, diagnosing, outcome identification, planning, implementing, and evaluating
  • Meet the needs of the patient and family including education and discharge planning
  • Showcase leadership through activities such as teaching, community involvement, precepting
